I greatly enjoyed being in this place. Everything was excellent, charming hotel. - the location was excellent near the centre of Brunate. - Incredibly comfortable room with the terrace. - I had a really comfortable stay. - I had savoury food for breakfast with homemade pastries. Overall, my 3-night stay at Hotel Vista Lago in Brunate was delightful. the hotel was charming and the location was perfect, close to the center of Brunate. the room with the terrace was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a really nice stay. the breakfast offered savoury food along with delicious homemade pastries.

It had a fantastic view but was fairly convenient to get to by Funicular.

We were not given enough information about TV, blinds etc and the breakfast was very mediocre.

A very clean,modern and friendly hotel up in the clouds. An exciting and reasonably priced way to see Lake Como. The ride up in the vernicular is just great and the view fantastic.

Waking up to the sight of the lake and the Alps in the background was truly special. I also appreciated the location of the hotel, being close to the funicular railway made it convenient to explore the area. The staff at the hotel, especially the friendly woman who welcomed us, were helpful and made us feel welcome.

The drive up to the hotel is treacherous. It would be better to inform guests to park at a parking garage in Como near the funicular and take the funicular up and back. Restaurant in the hotel was not open, had to go down a bit to another hotel. Also, you must inform reception the day and time you are leaving as the reception desk is not open 24hrs. We wanted to leave at 7 am and there was no one there to check us out. We learned, after the fact, that we needed to inform them so that they would have someone there to check us out. But overall really recommend staying here because of the view and peacefulness. Definitely book a room with a view of the lake

Everything was excellent, stunning location near to restaurants and shops as well as Vista Lago, outstandingly accommodating staff. Tasty food and comfy room - had a comfortable stay in winter time. It had lovely beds and a breathtaking view of the lake. I appreciated the time in this property.

Exceptionally good value. Easy to locate and stay, staff went out of their way to be helpful. Good facilities, including free wi-fi. Location perfect for visiting Como and for eating out.

The hotel had an amazing view of Lake Como when it wasn't cloudy, the rooms that face Lake Como are especially nice.

Next to the funicular, this hotel offers easy access to Como city center. The rooms with balconies provide breathtaking views of Switzerland and Como Lake. The staff is attentive and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The homemade pastries served at breakfast are delicious.

No aspect to improve, all was perfect.

The view

The location is not good for traveling by car to the cities around (to deep and high in the mountain), some problems with the indoor facilities (elevator, acessibilities to the room, not modern/confortable as it could/should be)

The hotel is in a lovely location with wonderful views of alps and lake como.It is less than 100 metres from the funicular and gets you away from the hustle-bustle of the town of como.the church next door is itself an attraction.the volta lighthouse is easily walkable form the hoteland offers breathtaking panoramic views of lombardy and alps. The staff are extremely courteous,flexible and make you feel at home.they go about their work quietly and in an unfussed manner.the food, bar,wine,child friendlyness and the littel extras made our stay really memorable. Really felt sad we had to finish the holiday and leave.highly recommended.
